OAT FLOUR CHOCOLATE DOUGHNUTS

I made these treats for my son’s “Doughnuts with Dad” party and everybody loved them. Since he is gluten-free and cannot have the store-bought goodies, I usually make such treats at home. This recipe is yeast free. The taste is pretty good and it is very easy to make.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/4 cups-  Gluten-Free Oat Flour

  • 1/4 cup-  Rice Flour

  • 1/4 cup- Agave or maple syrup

  • 1/4 tsp –Stevia

  • 1 1/4 tsp- Baking Powder

  • Pinch of Salt

  • 1 tsp -Vanilla

  • 1/2 cup- Dairy Free Milk

  • 1/4 cup- Grapeseed Oil

  • 3/4 tsp -Vinegar

RECIPE:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F or 180 C or Gas Mark 4.

  • In a bowl mix oat flour, rice flour, baking powder, salt and raw cacao. Mix

  • Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until there are no lumps.

  • Pour the batter into a decorating bag or Ziploc bag and cut off a corner.

  • Pipe the batter into a pre-greased doughnut pan.

  • Bake for 12-14 mins. Check after 12 minutes as the temperature of all ovens vary.

  • Let the Doughnuts cool off completely around 15 minutes before glazing.
