This Week in 5- #5

Here is the latest installment in “This Week in 5” Series.

1. INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL:

Finally we were able to fly internationally to my home country “Pakistan” and meet family. Flights were being cancelled left and right to minimize the spread of the Covid variants, but we were lucky that it did not happen to us and we were able to travel safely with the necessary precautions.

We had taken a Covid-19 test before our travel but he had take another rapid test at the Lahore Airport.

We stayed indoors mostly, enjoying the company of our families but that did not stop us from doing takeout and enjoying scrumptious food. Here is a peek of the yummy options we enjoyed during our stay. A lot of options did not even make it to this picture as by the time I thought of taking a picture, the food had already been devoured.

2. LIMITED SERIES WHICH I ENJOYED RECENTLY- MARE OF EASTTOWN

mare of easttown, this week in 5, hbo, what to see in 2021, bingewatch

A police officer in a small Pennsylvania town investigates a brutal murder all while trying to keep her life from falling apart!

Kate Winslet and is superb!

Amazing acting, wry humor, brilliant film making, honest dialogue delivery…everything is spot on. The story does not drag on and the end was justified.

Job well done HBO!

3. RECENT PURCHASE WHICH IS SURELY MINIMAL- TRAVELAMBO

travelambo, minimalist wallet, rfid blocking, men, fashion. this week in 5

For just $10 you can get the most slim wallet you can imagine.

My husband was tired carrying around the bulky wallets and wanted something compact. After much research and returning a few big brand ones, we stumbled upon Travelambo RFID Blocking Slim Wallet. Only 0.12″ think and RFID blocking tested and approved for 13.56 MHz Frequency.

The wallet easily holds upto 10 credit cards and there is an ID card slot in front. The leather is of good quality and small attention to detail is amazing.

Don’t think twice, just get it!

This picture was taken from our lodge on our trip to Arches National Park during the pandemic. You can read all about it HERE. I don’t have words to express the feeling of gratitude one gets while witnessing the blanket of stars twinkling in the sky.

You definitely have to take a trip to Utah to get the feel.

5.MY FAVORITE CLEAN FACE AND HAND SCRUB

acure, human+kind, face scrub, hand scrub

I have been using ACURE  products ever since the company came into existence and one of my favorite product has been their Brightening scrub. It has Sea kelp and French green clay and is suitable for all skin types.

It is Vegan and certified cruelty-free. Also Paraben free, Sulfate free, Mineral oil free, Petrolatum free and Formaldehyde free.

I usually use it once a week. It exfoliates as well as cleanses thanks to the clay. The granules are much finer compared to other scrubs and it does not dry out the skin.

My other recent find, well not that recent as it has been almost a year now, is the Human+Kind Hand Scrub.

It is vegan, cruelty free (no animal testing), and free from harmful chemicals – no parabens, no petrochemicals, SLS-free.

It has a sweet fruity smell thanks to the Raspberry Seeds and Elderflower. It makes the hands soo soft especially after using so much hand sanitizer which dries out the skin.

I have also used it on my feet and you can definitely feel the difference.

Hope you enjoyed the “5 Things This Week”. Will be back soon for the next installment!
