NO-BAKE DATE ENERGY BALLS

When I started making these energy bites long time ago I did not know what to call them. It was just an attempt to make something tasty which would help me with the afternoon slump without turning on the oven. Now days the internet is flooded with new variations of such recipes so I can safely say that this pick-me-up snack has an official name “Energy Balls”. They are very easy to make and from start to finish take less than 10 minutes. These taste like caramel nut bites and are super yummy.

Recipe Notes

-Medjool dates work best in this recipe since they are soft and sweeter than other variety.

-You can use kind of nuts you like for example Almonds, Walnuts, Pecans, Cashews or even a combination of these.

-I usually make them smaller in size so I can enjoy more than 1 at any given time.

-This is just a basic recipe. You can make substitutions any way you like. Just remember that you might have to play with the dry and wet ingredient ratios to get a perfect energy ball.

-You can roll these balls in shredded coconut, raw cacao or even more nuts to make them fancier.
